The Red Pen is an independent education consulting company, helping applicants plan their education at the school, university or postgraduate levels. We also assist high schools to develop a student-focused, scalable university counseling infrastructure. We currently have approximately 100+ team members, located around the world. Most of our team members have lived, worked and/or studied outside India. Currently, we are working from home.

Job Description

As The Red Pen continues to grow its services and clients across India and around the world, we seek a Marketing Associate, MBA Consulting. The incumbent will support the MBA consulting stream. Proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to help The Red Pen as it continues to grow in India and globally. You will be the marketing liaison for the MBA team at The Red Pen. You will help with lead nurturing strategies, social media content, SEO and blog content creation, and manage our online presence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leverage digital channels to expand to acquire new customers
• Work with the team to develop interesting content for our social channels
• Assist in the creation of SEO & blog content or the website
• Support the team in the development of different types of scripts for video content that can be used in events, social media (including the YouTube channel

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in the digital marketing
• Knowledge of WordPress, CRM, market automation and SEO is a plus
• A Master’s degree in Marketing is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of the education management & consulting space
• Experience collaborating with designers, developers, marketing agencies
• Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, web analytics and Google AdWords
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up-like organization with rapid growth potential.
• Able to work well under pressure and challenging deadlines
