Content Specialist

The Red Pen continues to grow its services and clients across India and around the world; we are seeking a Content Specialist, with strong writing and communication skills to assist in developing, sharing and measuring results of content activities.
Responsibilities
- Proofreading of application forms, essays and resumes
- Liaise with applicant stories/experiences and help them translate those into written form through brainstorming sessions
- Collaborate with application consultants to help applicants conceptualize, structure and produce polished, original essays and statements of purpose
- Guide students through effective college-specific research to identify relevant resources and offerings for reference in essays
- Create original content for digital and social media channels on an as-needed basis

Associate, MBA

We are seeking MBA Consultants with high energy, a positive attitude and a passion for mentoring young people as they make higher education and career choices. Our MBA Consultants work one-on-one with applicants to develop the most compelling application to global MBA programs.
Responsibilities
- Understanding an applicant’s background.
- Conducting online research and suggesting programs/universities relevant to the applicant’s strengths and goals.
- Creating and maintaining material development timelines.
- Engaging the applicant in a meaningful and realistic goal development exercise.
- Brainstorming story/content for essays, interviews and other application components.
- Overseeing resume edits (via the resume specialist).
- Coordinating essay drafts including assessing relevance of content, expression and grammar. Must be comfortable providing verbal and written feedback and inline suggestions.
- Reviewing an applicant’s recommendation letter strategy.
- Reviewing all written application materials, including but not limited to essays, application forms, and resumes to ensure consistency and proof reading to ensure effective presentation.
- Conducting basic interview preparation.
- Counseling applicant about career/education goals.
- Motivating applicants through a demanding, prolonged application process.
- All relevant and reasonable activity required to assist an applicant as they prepare for the global MBA application process.
- Communicating continuously with core MBA services team on applicant progress.

Education Consultant, Undergraduate

We are seeking an Undergraduate Education Consultant, with strong writing and communication skills to assist in developing, sharing and measuring results of content UG activities.
Responsibilities
The Undergraduate Education Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end project management and advising undergraduate applicants. TRP will train the Consultant to execute duties listed below according to internal procedures and processes:
- Understanding an applicant’s background
- Conducting online research and suggest programs/universities relevant to the applicant’s strengths and goals
- Creating and maintaining timelines
- Counseling applicant and parents on college choice, education goals and choice of major
- Brainstorming topics for essays, interviews and other application components
- Assisting with resume creation
- Coordinating essay drafts (via the Essay Editing Specialist) to assess relevance of content, expression and grammar. Must be comfortable providing verbal and written feedback and inline suggestions
- Reviewing all written application materials, including but not limited to essays, application forms, and resumes to ensure consistency and proof reading to ensure effective presentation
- Conducting basic interview preparation
- Motivating applicants through a demanding, prolonged application process
- All relevant and reasonable activity required to assist an applicant as they prepare for the application process for college abroad
- Communicating continuously with core undergraduate services team on applicant progress
