Where Should Your Child Study?
Why the UK?
One of the oldest and most elite education systems globally, the UK is a popular choice for a world-class education. Its prestigious mix of traditional and modern schools follow a pastoral house system, offer small class sizes and high-quality teaching staff.
UK boarding schools offer A-levels, IBDP and Pre U’s.
Students generally enrol in grade 8 or 11 (year 9 or 12), however, they can enrol at an earlier stage. Our counsellors meet students up to four years in advance of the anticipated year of admission.
Known for its safety, fantastic infrastructure, world-class education facilities, varied curriculum and diverse student population, Switzerland is a popular choice for parents seeking a well-rounded educational experience. Second languages and extracurricular activities like skiing, trekking and hiking are all a part of the mandatory curriculum.
Swiss boarding schools offer IBDP, Swiss Maturité, the French Baccalaureate, A-levels and APs. Some schools offer a combination of these.
Students can start as early as age 7, however, most students enrol in grade 9 or 11. Application procedures usually start a year in advance of the anticipated year of admission.
Boarding schools in India are known for their academic rigour, small class sizes, a wide variety of subjects and extracurricular opportunities beyond what day schools offer. Their proximity to home, safety protocols and relatable environment make them a popular choice with parents.
Most Indian boarding schools offer CBSE, CISCE, IGCSE and IBDP.
Students can start as early as age 7 but grades 9 or 11 are the most preferred years of admission. Application procedures usually start a year in advance of the anticipated year of admission.
Why US or Canada?
Widely considered a stepping stone into universities, the US and Canada offer an array of boarding schools with unique experiences and various academic and extracurricular options. Parents can choose a best-fit school with different resources and methods of teaching like military, therapeutic, preparatory and more.
Most schools in the US and Canada offer college prep curricula, often including AP courses or IBDP.
Students can enrol as early as grade 5 at a junior boarding school, however, most students enrol in grade 9. Students are required to apply a year before they wish to join.
Why Southeast Asia?
Leading Asian cities like Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Bangkok and others are a melting pot of education and culture. Cutting-edge technology, a thriving expat population, robust development and streamlined efficiency make them international hubs to reckon with. Popular American, British and European boarding schools have set up international boarding school campuses across Asia, such as Marlborough College in Malaysia, Harrow International School in Bangkok and Hong Kong and many more.
Everything from A-levels and IBDP to APs is offered at different schools in different countries.
Most boarding facilities are offered to students from secondary school onwards. It is best to start preparing at least a year in advance of the anticipated year of admission.
